Ketih Smith is a long-time Foley native and has a long history with Foley Schools. Keith's father was hired as the Assistant Coach for Foley in 1967 and took over the head coach position before Keith turned 2 years old. Keith knew he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps. During his junior and senior years of college, Ketih was a volunteer assistant and would also come home on the weekends to help on game days for the Foley Lions. In 1990, Keith took on a position as a full-time teacher at Foley Middle School. He was also the head football coach there for 16 years. He's been to hundreds of Foley football games in his lifetime. He shared about how his father has always been his biggest influence in both life and his football career. Keith has always admired the effect that his father has on the community and how he always strives to make a difference. Keith's main goal is to impact people in a positive way and try to make their lives better. He has defintely accomplished this and continues to do so.
